Typically, a cable blowing machine can blow a fiber optic cable over a distance of 1000m-2000m in one go. The factors that primarily affect the length of cable blowing in practical operations are as follows:

The main factors affecting the cable blowing effect are as follows:

1. Terrain and the quality of the duct installation: When the route is relatively flat and the duct is laid straight, the cable blowing speed and length are ideal. However, if there are large radius curves (horizontal or vertical) within the cable blowing section, it may slightly affect the cable blowing speed and length. When the duct has small radius curves, especially "W" shaped bends, it can have a significant impact. Therefore, when selecting the route, these situations should be avoided as much as possible. During duct installation, the trench bottom should be straight, and continuous horizontal and vertical bends in the duct should be minimized.

2. Ratio of the cable outer diameter to the inner diameter of the plastic conduit.

3. Cable weight per unit length and the outer sheath material (generally, cables with medium-density polyethylene outer sheath have better blowing effects).

4. Selection of the blowing point: In sections with uphill or downhill slopes, it is preferable to choose a point for blowing from top to bottom.

5. Performance parameters of the air compressor.

6. Ambient temperature and humidity during construction.
