Advantages and Applications of Air-Blowing Optical Cable
Air-blown cable has been widely used in international markets due to its significant improvement in the utilization efficiency of duct holes. In some areas of residential reconstruction projects, optical cables may need to cross squares or road surfaces. If overhead installation is not recommended, the method of shallow trenching and burying optical cables is very simple. It only requires a cutting machine to excavate a shallow trench about 50px in width and 250px in depth on the road surface, and after laying the optical cable, back filling can be implemented to quickly complete the routing connection.
Advantages of air blown cable: Compared with traditional stranded optical cables, the material usage and processing costs of micro-cables with the same number of cores are greatly reduced. The structure size is small, the cable quality is low, and the weather resistance is good. Optical cables can be reused. It has good bending performance and good resistance to lateral pressure in normal working conditions. It is suitable for overhead and pipeline installation. A smaller specification of reinforcing steel wire can be used for overhead installation, while pipeline installation can save existing pipeline resources.
